A Computer Engineer building scalable digital infrastructure to solve the housing crisis for African students.
The Origin Story
"I was just another student at the University of Zimbabwe facing a harsh reality: the lack of on-campus accommodation. Every morning, I joined hundreds of others walking miles to reach the lecture rooms, exhausted before the first class even began."
I spent months searching for off-campus housing, navigating through unreliable agents, inflated prices, and unsafe neighborhoods. It wasn't just a personal struggle; it was a systemic logistical nightmare that hindered our education.
I decided that no student should have to sacrifice their physical well-being for a place to stay. I started the CasaMax Movement to digitize the search for accommodation—ensuring transparency, safety, and efficiency for every student in Zimbabwe.
